1. Traditional Ayurvedic  Massage  
 
Course Components
  The fundamental principles of Ayurveda.
 The benefits and contraindications of Ayurvedic Massage.
 Ayurvedic Massage techniques.
 Abhyanga: full-body massage, from head to toe, with warm oils.
 An introduction to Marma massage; the most important Marma points used in balancing
     the Doshas.
  The Doshas: their definition, qualities, functions and imbalances.
 The seven Dhatus, or bodily tissues.
  General guidelines for maintaining a balanced bodily constitution.
 Massage oils: sesame, coconut, olive and mustard oils.
 Medicated oils: their Ayurvedic properties and use in the treatment of specific ailments.

Course duration--- 15 days   1 hour theory class and 2 hours practical/day
Course fees-350 Euro (including non a/c accommodation)
The course includes printed notes.

2. Ayurvedic Massage and Panchakarma Therapy  
 

This one-month course will help you to learn basic principles of Ayurvedic treatments, Ayurvedic massages and Panchakarma Therapy. This short-term course covers a variety of subjects in Ayurveda and is suited for the beginners develop a basic knowledge about Ayurvedic treatments. This course will also provide sufficient practical experience in all types of Ayurvedic massages and Panchakarma therapy procedures. 

  History of Ayurveda.
 Fundamental principles of Ayurveda - Basic principles like Tridosha concept, Pancha Maha Bhuta      concept.
  Basic principles of Panchakarma - Detailed description about Panchakarma Treatments -       indication, procedure, application according to the nature of the diseases.
  Philosophical theories of Ayurveda.
 Concept of Body, Mind And Soul.
 Marma - The vital body points on the body and its importance.
 Ayurvedic Massages - indications, procedures and preparations of Ayurvedic Massages like -      Elakizhi  (bolus bag massage with medicinal leaves), Navara kizhi (bolus bag massage with      Navara rice), Abhyanga (Oil massage), Pizhichil (Oil bath), Podikizhi (bolus bag massage with      medicinal powders), Udhwarthana  (Powder massage with medicinal powders), Shiro Dhara, etc.
  Specialised local treatments like - Kadivasti (For back pain), Netra Tarpana, (For improving the      health of  eyes), Gulfa vasti (Local treatment for Knee joint pain), Greeva vasti (Local treatment      for  neck pain),karnapoorna(Local treatment for ear diseases),Shirovasti (Oilation of head) etc.
 Practical massage training in all above mentioned Massages and Local treatments.
 
1 month course 3 hours /day 1hr theory and 2 hour practical
